The right lens depends on more than your prescription number. Someone who needs correction only for distance has different options than someone who needs a seamless blend of near, mid, and distance vision in one lens — and both are different again from someone with astigmatism or a very strong prescription. Our licensed opticians walk through your prescription, your daily routine, and your frame choice before recommending a lens, rather than defaulting everyone to the same design.
We fit single vision, digital progressive, and specialty lens designs for patients across Mississauga, Etobicoke, Brampton, and Oakville, ground and edged to match your frame in-house. Every lens includes anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coatings as standard, with treatments like Transitions photochromic lenses, blue light filtering, polarized lenses, and mirror coatings available if you want them. We also fit myopia control lenses from Essilor and HOYA for children whose nearsightedness is progressing, as part of an ongoing program monitored by our optometrist.

If your child's nearsightedness is progressing, myopia control lenses are designed to help slow that progression, not just correct current vision. We fit myopia management spectacle lenses from Essilor and HOYA, and monitor progress with our optometrist over time.

Myopia control is a program, not a one-time purchase — it starts with an eye exam so our optometrist can assess whether your child is a candidate, followed by regular follow-up visits to track how their prescription and eye growth respond over time. We see children for myopia management from Mississauga, Etobicoke, Brampton, and Oakville.

Every pair we fit starts with a 1.56 mid-index lens, with anti-glare and scratch-resistant coatings included — not an upsell. Many opticals charge extra for what we already include as standard.
Illustrative lens cross-sections by prescription strength (diopters) and material index — higher index numbers mean thinner lenses at the same prescription. Our 1.56 mid-index is included standard.
Refractive index measures how strongly a lens material bends light. A higher index bends light more per millimetre of material, so the lens can be ground thinner while still correcting the same prescription. Our 1.56 mid-index is included on every pair; higher indexes (1.61, 1.67, and 1.74) are available for stronger prescriptions that benefit most from a thinner, lighter lens.
