Do I need a separate fitting for contact lenses?
Yes. A contact lens fitting is different from a standard eyeglass prescription — it measures your eye's curvature and ensures the lens fits comfortably.
Is a contact lens fitting required if I've never worn contacts before?
Yes. First-time wearers need a fitting before we can dispense lenses. It includes measuring your eyes, choosing a lens type suited to your prescription and lifestyle, hands-on training on safe insertion, removal, and care, and a trial pair to confirm fit and comfort before your order is finalized.
What types of contact lenses do you carry?
We supply daily, bi-weekly, and monthly disposable lenses, plus specialty lenses for astigmatism, multifocal designs for presbyopia, and myopia control lenses for children, from major manufacturers.
Can contact lenses slow myopia progression in children?
Yes. We fit ACUVUE Abiliti 1-Day, a daily disposable lens designed to help slow myopia progression in kids alongside their regular vision correction. It's an ongoing program, not a one-time fitting — our optometrist monitors your child's prescription and eye growth over time.
Can I use my insurance for contact lenses?
Many extended health plans cover contact lenses under the same vision care allowance as glasses. We can direct bill most major insurers so you know your coverage upfront.
